1970 - 1980 The Group was founded in 1972 as a small family business by Eugene and Brendan Murtagh (both currently members of the Board of Directors). The Group was initially involved in the manufacture of metal cladding and roll formed structural sections. Later, Kingspan layered the foundations for its current full environmental offering.
A new CHP plant will provide on average up to 90% of the Pembridge plants annual electrical requirements and up to 40% of all heating needs. Kingspan Insulation has a target for 90% of waste leaving the site to be destined for recycling or re-use by 2009.
Kingspan Group announced its interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2010.
