In October 2006 the Kingspan Insulation Community Trust was established by Insulation Board's largest plant in Pembridge (UK). During 2007 the Community Trust sponsored local community and environmental projects. Carbon management solutions - dcarbon8

In 2006, Kingspan Insulated Panels was the first UK manufacturer to sign up to membership of dcarbon8. dcarbon8 is a carbon solutions company, that works with companies to manage the carbon footprint associated with their business operations or product manufacturer.

Sustainable Project Appraisal Routine (SPeAR)

In 2004 Kingspan Insulation Boards was the first insulation/building materials manufacturer to complete an independent appraisal of the holistic sustainability of its manufacturing processes and to make these results publicly available. Each year since then the division continues to work with Arup using the SPeAR methodology.
