Rainwater harvesting

Kingspan's Envireau Rainwater Harvesting and RainTrap Garden Watering systems work by taking the rain from the building's roof gutters, filtering out leaves and debris and storing the water in an underground tank. The water is then pumped into the building to be used for non-potable applications such as toilet flushing, washing machines, vehicle washing and garden watering.

Klargester Biodisc

The Klargester BioDisc is Kingspan Environmental's premier sewage treatment plant and offers a high performance, low maintenance system producing effluent which meets the rigorous quality standards demanded by the Environmental Agency. It is the only domestic treatment plant using a Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC). Operating costs are minimal, with an extremely quiet and reliable low power electric motor

Adblue Storage & Dispensing

The Titan Adblue Storage Range is designed to answer the needs of commercial companies as well as public depots with truck fleets who have a requirement to store Adblue. Equipped with dispenser and combined leakage and level sensor, the range meets the requirements of functionality and economics. Various heating options are available.

Attenuation Tanks

When the peak inflow rate in a storm exceeds the allowed discharge into the watercourse, the excess flow has to be 'attenuated' on the site for the duration of the storm. This is then released at, or less than, the allowed discharge rate after the storm.

To store the excess volume and allow the correct discharge rate to go to the watercourse, a flow regulator is installed to 'bleed off' the correct maximum flow rate. The flow regulator can be a vortex type system or a simple orifice plate system.

The remainder of the water is stored either in-line or off-line, depending on the design. Kingspan Environmental offer both in-line and offline solutions

As the specification by Municipal Agencies has increased over the years, emergency storage requirements have become a mainstay for most applications in line with current legislation.

To accommodate this, Kingspan Environmental has specifically developed a range of pumping stations which incorporate storage requirements which can be expanded to cater for most applications.

Oil / Water Separators

Surface water drains normally discharge to a watercourse or indirectly into underground waters (groundwater) via a soakaway. Contamination of surface water by oil, chemicals or suspended solids can cause these discharges to have a serious impact on the receiving water.

Oil separators are installed on surface water drainage systems to protect receiving waters from pollution by oil, which may be present due to minor leaks from vehicles and plant, from accidental spillage or due to deliberate and illegal tipping into drains.
