Timber frame systems (factory insulated)
Kingspan has over 40 years experience in manufacturing and erection of timber framed systems. Kingspan timber frame systems are widely used in construction and are suitable for construction of buildings up to six storeys high.
Timber frame systems are available with factory installed Kingspan insulation to provide superior thermal and air-tightness compliance standards.
Structural Insulated panel systems (SIPs)
The Kingspan TEK® Building System is a load-bearing off-site manufactured panellised method of construction which is accredited for applications up to 4 storeys. The system offers superior thermal and air-tightness performance both of which can be calibrated to meet the demanding requirements of levels 3, 4, 5 and 6 of the Code for Sustainable Homes.
The level 6 Kingspan Lighthouse was constructed using the TEK® Building System. The system provides enhanced build quality and ‘as built’ construction reliability which significantly reduces air leakage and thermal post-construction testing risks. The TEK® Building System has been widely used on numerous English Partnerships 60K Design for Manufacture projects and has been specified on the first Carbon Challenge project at Hanham Hall.
