Rainwater harvesting systems that take rain from the buildings' roof gutters, filter out leaves and debris and store the collected water in an underground tank. The water is then pumped into the building to be used for non-potable applications such as toilet flushing, washing machines, vehicle washing and garden watering.

Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS)

Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) helps manage the quantity, and quality, of water run-off from developed sites, preventing flash flooding and pollution of watercourses.

Greywater recycling systems

As part of the range, Kingspan offers Ezy-Filter, a greywater filtering system that filters the wastewater from baths, showers and sinks and stores it in an underground tank, such as RainTrap, for garden watering or vehicle washing.

Klargester Biodisc

The Klargester BioDisc is Kingspan Environmental's premier sewage treatment plant and offers a high performance, low maintenance system producing effluent which meets the rigorous quality standards demanded by the Environmental Agency. It is the only domestic treatment plant using a Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC). Operating costs are minimal, with an extremely quiet and reliable low power electric motor

Reed beds

A reed bed is a natural filtration process used in conjunction with a BioDisc or Biotec Treatment Plant to further enhance the quality of effluent migrating into surrounding watercourse.
